the prices were really good value for money, especially considering the quality of the meals. Speaking of which, the meals were excellent - not only did they taste amazing, but they were also very filling. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was close to the township and the city centre, making it convenient to explore the area. The staff were also very friendly and provided good service. The basic amenities in the rooms were sufficient, and the beds were comfortable. I also appreciated having a fridge in the room to store drinks and snacks. I had a pleasant experience.

The room was clean and comfortable with a historic touch. The bed was comfortable and appropriate lighting. The proximity to the town was also an advantage. The restaurant was outstanding, far beyond expectations, highly recommended to go with the chef's recommendations.
Some aspects need improvement, for example, a lack of heating in the restaurant, and the pillows were either somewhat hard or thin and soft, resulting in some discomfort. The outside stairs to the room were old and tired, and the presentation of the property was scruffy.

The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of. We especially appreciated the basic amenities in the room, including a fridge, which allowed us to store our snacks and drinks. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to the town centre of Stawell and all the famous attractions of the Grampians. We also loved being away from the Highway, as it provided a peaceful and serene environment for our stay. The in-ground level room with a view was a bonus, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
There were no significant issues during our stay.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location close to the main shopping area and all Grampians famous attractions, but away from the highway noise. The rooms are clean and tidy, with an old-world vintage charm. The bathroom fittings have been modernized, and there is good lighting and a great hot water system.
Some staff members could use some improvement when it comes to their manners and customer service skills.
